In accordance with Chapter 395 of the Texas Local Government Code (Tex. LGC), the Planning and Zoning Commission was appointed in May 2024 to serve as the Advisory Committee for the Impact Fee Study.
Working in collaboration with City staff and Freese and Nichols, Inc., the Committee spent over a year developing the Final Report on the Land Use Assumptions and Capital Improvement Plan for Water and Wastewater Impact Fees.
A Public Hearing and the first reading of the ordinance were held on July 22, 2025, with the second and final reading approved by City Council on August 12, 2025.
