The budget document is a financial plan for a given fiscal year, showing revenues and expenditures for different funds of the City. The budget is also used a policy document, operations guide and a communications device for the Council and City Staff.
The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has presented the City of Rockport with the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for 13 years in a row.
