Utility Customer Service Department
A Special Message from Utility Billing Customer Service
If you have not registered your account with our online payment system, now would be a good time to do so. You can make online payments with a debit or credit card (Service Fee of 2.5% will apply), send requests to the utility billing office, and check your current balance. You can also sign up to receive your bill by email, which would speed up the delivery time.
In addition, we offer the opportunity to auto draft from a checking or savings account. This method takes two billing cycles to take effect. We are also exploring the option to adding a payment by check method on our website.
Duties & Responsibilities
Receive and process all utility payments, including walk-in customers and draft billing; process customer queries and requests for connections or disconnections; establish new accounts and connections for water, wastewater and natural gas customers and maintain master file accounts. This department also documents and transmits orders pertaining to all utility services, including sanitation, water, wastewater and natural gas, researches availability of water, wastewater, and natural gas service, and prepares monthly lists for disconnecting delinquent accounts.
