The Rockport Police Department operates a 22-foot transport/patrol/rescue boat. The Marine Patrol enforces local and state water safety laws on the waterways within Rockport city limits. Mounted on the boat is a fire pump with a range of 150-200 feet amd a 400 gallon per minute capacity.
