The traditional lighting of the Community Christmas Tree takes place at 6:45 p.m. in Compass Rose Park overlooking Little Bay. Prior to the illumination of the tree, winners of the annual coloring contest are recognized by the Mayor. This year's tree will have double the light power with twice as many bulbs and LEDs.
